Terms

Short version: use it for anything legitimate, keep your edit links safe, and don't abuse it.

The free service

Short links, QR codes of every type, editing destinations, routing rules and statistics are free. Links don't expire and are never switched off for not paying.

StillQR is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 to use it.

Content of links

StillQR only redirects visitors to web addresses chosen by the person who created each link. We don't host, create, review in advance or endorse the content at those addresses, and we aren't responsible for it. Each link owner is responsible for where their links point.

We can disable any link at any time, for example after a report, a legal request, or when it breaks these terms or the law.

Acceptable use

You may not use StillQR to point to or distribute:

  • phishing, scams or impersonation of other people or organizations;
  • malware or unwanted software;
  • spam;
  • content that is illegal where you or your visitors are.

We check destinations with Google Web Risk and review every report sent through the report page. We may disable any link that breaks these rules, without notice. Visitors then see a page explaining the link was disabled.

Edit links and accounts

  • Whoever has a link's edit link (its secret key) can change it. Keys live in your browser; use Backup & Migrate to keep a copy. We can't recover lost keys.
  • Signing in with Google is optional. It keeps your links on every device and is needed for AI and to buy credits. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
  • If you share a link's invite, the people who open it can manage that link too. Only its owner can delete it, and the owner can remove the others at any time.
  • You can delete your account anytime. Your links and credits are deleted with it, except shared links, which pass to someone who manages them with you.

Advanced analytics

If you turn on advanced analytics for a link, its visitors pass through a split-second page that reports a few details of their browser (described in our privacy policy). You only see totals. Use it for legitimate statistics, never to identify people.

AI credits and Pro

  • AI features use credits. New accounts get 10 credits; each AI action uses 5. Credits don't expire.
  • StillQR Pro is a one-time payment, not a subscription: your account is Pro forever and gets 500 credits. Pro accounts can buy refills of 700 credits at the same price.
  • Purchases are sold and processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which also issues the receipt.
  • If an AI action fails, its credits are returned automatically.
  • AI output can be wrong. Review AI rules before saving them.

Refunds

If you haven't used the credits from a purchase, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days by writing to [email protected]. There are no subscriptions, so nothing renews or charges you again.

No warranty

StillQR is provided as is. We work hard to keep every link working, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't liable for losses caused by downtime or by link destinations.

If these terms change, we'll update this page and its date.
