How it works
The network name, password and security type go inside the QR code itself, in the standard Wi-Fi format that iPhone and Android cameras read. That's why it works without internet: whoever scans it isn't connected yet.
Make yours in a minute
- Open StillQR and choose Create any QR, then Wi-Fi.
- Type the network name and password, and pick the security (WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for most routers).
- Style it with your colors and logo, and download it as PNG or SVG.
Private by design
The code is made in your browser. Your Wi-Fi password is never sent to our servers and we don't store it.
Tips for cafés, rentals and offices
- Put it where people ask for the password: on tables, at the counter, next to the router.
- Print it at least 3 cm (about 1.2 in) wide, with dark dots on a light background.
- If you change the password, print a new code: the old one keeps the old password inside.
Questions
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Recent iPhones and Android phones read Wi-Fi codes straight from the camera.
Does the guest need internet to scan it?
No. All the data is inside the code.
